Planning for the popular marketplace conference, Billionaires-In-Training (BIT) is gaining momentum. The annual conference will be held from 2-3 September 2016 at the Boardwalk Convention Centre in Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
BIT is a Kingdom initiative that seeks to raise the next generation of billionaires in the Kingdom of God. It is a ground breaking vision originated by God and given to Pastor Jerome Liberty. The focus of the 2016 conference will be to reach out to the unchurched, equip Christians for the marketplace and evangelism. It will be a fantastic spirit-filled encounter that will ensure we all move a step closer to our vision: “a whole city can be born-again in one single day”.
BIT is an annual conference aimed at encouraging Christians to use their wealth to advance the Kingdom of God. “We are raising the next generation of marketplace apostles (Christians in Business), men and women who will take cities and nations for God through the power of the Gospel and their funds,” said conference host, Jerome Liberty.
Over the years, the conference has featured prominent business people including Liberty who was the best contractor to Telkom nationally in the mid-1990’s, former finance MEC and SABS chairman, Martin Kuscus, the founder of the multi-billion dollar Mergon Group, Francois Van Niekerk, Port Elizabeth attorney, Nadan Naidoo, and former national planning commissioner, Dr Bridgette Gasa.
The commonality among speakers is their humility and the glory they bring to God’s name through their wealth of experience and wisdom. “We live in a world where the love of money and materialism wreaks havoc in families, churches, cities and nations. Through Billionaires-In-Training, we teach and empower Christian business people to be of greater value to society than concentrate on materialism and bling-bling. We are raising end-time financiers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” explained Liberty.
This year there is an added innovative spin to this international conference to be hosted in multiple cities simultaneously. Watch this space for breaking news and new developments.
